Fire destroys shops in Lagos market

A fire ripped through a market in Lagos on Sunday, destroying at least 120 shops.

Punch reports that most of the shops were used to store palm, groundnut and vegetable oil.
According to the report, the fire raged from 01:00 and is believed to be caused by a power surge.
Nigerian Tribune reports that the fire not only destroyed the shops, but goods worth millions of naira.
No casualties have been reported.
