Yaya Toure may not be taken serious for this but there could be substance in his statements

Nigeria and Algeria were the last African teams to be eliminated from the tournament after their last 16 clashes with France and Germany respectively.
Toure whose side crashed out on a last day group game against Europeans Greece, said that they were eliminated due to refereeing errors and the world remain silent about it days after because they are Africans.
Cote D’ Ivoire would have made the last 16 had the game against Greece remained 1-1 and so it seemed to be heading until the referee awarded the Europeans a penalty which Giorgios Samaras converted for a 2-1 lead.
Yaya Toure was writing in his column at France when he stated: "I desperately wanted the referee to spot Samaras' simulation.
"Once again, the refereeing was not on our side. We had at least two penalties denied in our match against Japan.
"And this time, one is invented against Greece. Of course, it does not upset anyone because we're an African team.’’
Toure has not been far from controversial statements after Manchester City ‘snubbed’ his birthday celebration, the player has gone on several revelations regarding his stay at the club and the club’s leave denial to stay with his brother Ibrahim before he passed away.
Nevertheless, the player's comment on the officiating in the World Cup cannot be overstated: American referee Mark Geiger has been criticized for some wrong calls and non-calls in the game between Nigeria and France.
